The Barn - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Barn provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Barn is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Stables. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to skiing and snow boarding at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, a short 45 minute drive away. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Only a 5min drive into Bright where you have fine dining, shops and fun activities. The Ovens river, autumn colour, cycling, golf and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet are also nearby. With a well equipped kitchen and BBQ on your own veranda. The brightest stars at night and a very private mountain stream.

Halfmooncreek Moondance cottage 8 kms from Bright

Nestled amongst the natural beauty of Wandiligong, Moondance Cabin overlooks the glorious valley and all that it has to offer. Sit out on the deck and read a book, or enjoy a nice glass of red as you relax and unwind. There's nothing here to distract you from your sole purpose to let go of the stress of the city and enjoy the tranquility of mother nature . Wandi Valley - entire private guest wing, sleeps 4

A colourful renovated country house nestled in a fruit and nut orchard only 5kms from Bright and 100m from the Rail Trail cycle path. Enjoy the large private guest wing with two huge bedrooms; one queen bed, and the second a king bed that can split into two singles, which is great for the kids (check Other details for more kids info). With a private entrance, it also includes a large bathroom, laundry and kitchenette, access to patio & BBQ with deck, a fire pit and is bike friendly.

Little Farm Accommodation

We are nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps,close to Bright. There is a crystal clear stream suitable for trout fishing nearby. Our little farm consists of cattle, chickens, two dogs, chestnuts and blueberries and bountiful Australia wildlife. The cottage(bedsit) is self contained and private, with one double and two single beds plus a very large shady garden with a BBQ and Gazebo. Pets are welcome. We very much welcome international travelers to this beautiful area.

Green Gables

Green Gables is a peaceful cottage situated in lush gardens on the banks of the Ovens River in Bright. The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

The Bon Accord unit is a 2 bedroom self contained apartment sleeping up to 6 It has a large private bathroom with multiple showers and toilets and a large kitchen/dinning area. The bungalow has a private fenced courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes (50m), Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer. Perfect for group and family getaways.

Surrounded by half an acre of beautiful established gardens and set back from the road, Mystic View Cottage truly is a tranquil place to unwind.
