You will be able to enjoy a single bedroom with a queen size bed, a full kitchen and two opposite-facing (E+W) decks to catch sunrise or sunset. There is no wifi or cable, but due to the barn's location on the Bolton Peninsula you will have great service for hotspots or calls back home. We look forward to having you!

Welcome to "Calico's Chicken House!" We are so happy you found our historic farm which my parents purchased in 1947. Located just down the road from where my great grandparents purchased the original farm which is still in the family today. We named the former chicken house after our favorite farm cat, Calico. She resided there for 17 years and found great comfort. We know you will too. Recently remodeled to accommodate your every creature comfort need. Our house is family and pet friendly.

Even though it's just a 7-minute walk to the village, our place backs up to the wilderness, with great views of Tumwater Mountain and Icicle Ridge. Best of all, The Shedd has many windows and lots of fresh air and natural light.
