The Red Room is located on the second floor and is a very spacious room with sunrise views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The red, navy, and tan color palette pays tribute to our Nation's history. The King size spindle bed is fitted with fine linens and a daybed is also available for up to 2 additional guests. The room features a non-working fireplace. Our site offers pastoral views and hikes in the forest on our 70 acres near the Shenandoah Valley. You’ll be learning about this straw-bale constructed eco-centric home. Our free range hens provide fresh eggs for your breakfast. (This is an extra fee during our busy season. )

Hiker's Hideaway in a Rustic Grist Mill Inn

The Hiker's Hideway, a room with a private bathroom overlooks the Mill's massive Fritz water wheel. It is furnished with a king bed, sitting area, smart TV (complimentary YouTube TV), usb chargers, free coffee, tea, water, and access to free WiFi. Linens and toiletries are provided. Please note this suite is NOT pet friendly. The cabin is our only pet-friendly option. The suite is also on the 2nd floor up the original (steep) stairs of the Mill house.
