Our Bell Tent sits in Ancient Sussex Woodland on our 100 acre family farm on the edge of the South Downs National Park and is within easy reach of Brighton.Our 5m Bell Tent provides a perfect bolthole for a romantic mini break or just a quiet break to the Sussex countryside. Our nearby pubs include The Ginger Fox and The Shepherd and Dog which both serve incredible seasonal food. We have wonderful walks from our doorstep and acres of land and woodland to explore. Glamping in style with home comforts Bell Tent

Enjoy nature in this romantic setting in either our bell tent or emperor tent with lots of home comforts. There's fresh water on tap and homemade compost toilets. Get to meet our goats and chickens. We're far enough into the countryside to unwind and quietly observe the deer and wild birds, but close enough to Crawley to not feel too isolated. Gatwick is a short distance away if you want to stay just before or after a holiday, eliminating the worry of traffic and rushing to/from the airport.

You can set off along the river rother and make your way to Bodiam or for the less adventurous you can walk through fields to the nearest pub (10 min away). The Two Top

The Two Top is a cosy 4 meter bell tent with a double bed complete with duvet, pillows and linen for that home from home feel in the great outdoors. It features a private fire pit and seating area. The Two Top has access to a shared outdoor kitchenette with additional seating which is exclusively for glampers. There is a shared glampers toilet and new to 2025 a shared shower included! Light and power bank available with a small fee and returnable deposit. Towels included.

Woodland hangout in flying tent

Our first flying tent in the trees has been such a hit that we’ve set up a second nearby. Nestled in a tiny pocket of rare Sussex wet woodland, this tent floats above the ground, offering an amazing sense of peace among the foliage. Watch horses graze across the stream, hear steam trains puff up the line, make dinner in your outdoor kitchen and toast marshmallows over the fire pit, before climbing into your floating bed and drifting off to the hoot of owls.

Barefoot Safari Tent

Wake up to a view over the Brede Valley, stretching out from your very own private Safari Tent? Barefoot Safari Tent is beautifully decorated, off-grid and hidden away. A unique and peaceful experience place for a romantic getaway. A comfortable, countryside retreat with a self-catered kitchen and even your own bath! It has its very own log burner and plenty of logs to keep you warm all year round. We also have Barefoot Yurts which accommodates 6 guests.

Bell - End

We’ve added a lovely bell tent for those after a simple, stripped-back camping experience—no gear needed. Just turn up and enjoy an evening under the stars with a fire pit, festoon lights, and nature all around. There’s a proper framed bed with a memory foam mattress, so no roughing it here. While there’s no shower, you’ll have your own toilet. A peaceful, hassle-free night under canvas—with just the right touch of comfort.

Non-Electric Grass Pitch #4

Set by the river's edge, Allington Lock Camping and Cabins offers a traditional camping experience in nature. There are eight non electric grass pitches for those bringing their own tents, or opt for one of the timber-built Scandinavian-style cabins, each sleeping up to four (you will need to bring your bedding). The cabins are kept simple and snug. Dine al fresco with the site's pizza oven, BBQ, and covered picnic area.
