The Byre is a tranquil cottage ideally positioned to enjoy all Mid-Wales has to offer. Perfect for visitors wanting a peaceful break or an adventure. Dogs are welcome too! Picturesque hill walks are on the doorstep and nearby highlights include Snowdonia/Eryri, Powys Castle, Lake Vyrnwy and magnificent beaches; there are plenty of activities to suit everyone. Our cosy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, one double bed and sitting room/diner with views across the valley.

Relax in this calm space, surrounded by nature and a large, peaceful garden. You have your own private en-suite shower room and a comfortable bed suitable for single or double occupants. There's also a small unit including sink and drainer, mini fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster for your private use in the space. In warmer weather, enjoy sitting outdoors and exploring our local area, including the historic towns of Bishop's Castle & Montgomery - you are right on the border here in Snead ☀

Orchard cottage Welshpool powys

Welcome to Orchard cottage, a single storey building, annexed to ( but separate from ) our house. The cottage is furnished to a high standard. We are situated on the outskirts of a private residential area, just 400 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Welshpool, there are various shops, supermarkets, pubs & restaurants. The magnificent Powis castle is a short walk from the town centre, through the beautiful parkland. Other attractions include Montgomery canal & light railway.

Beautiful well equipped annex attached to the owner's house in the lovely rural village of Castle Caereinion near Welshpool. The village has a pub, church and a small playground. The area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and anyone wanting some relaxation. It is local to many places of interest and about an hour from the coast. The upstairs living room can be accessed by stairlift and boasts uninterrupted views of the Welsh countryside.The owners are usually on site should you require anything.

Silver Birch Lodge

Our lodges are set in 6 acres of grounds offering a peaceful countryside experience in the heart of mid wales. The lodges all have outstanding views over the wildlife pond & surrounding countryside. Fully central heated, with a king size bed & also a double sofa bed complete with all bedding & towels. Each lodge has its own en suite shower room with WC, kitchenette ( 2 ring gas hob, combination microwave, fridge, kettle & toaster etc) with outside dining area on the large elevated decking.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

Gothic Victorian Gate House & Hot Tub Welshpool

This beautiful, unspoilt detached 1820s gate lodge, with exposed beams, flagstone floor and eclectic decor, lies just a short stroll from the centre of the charming market town of Welshpool, with its fine selection of shops, inns and restaurants. Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. Sofa bed in living room and single bed via steep stairs.

Stabal y Nant

Located amongst the picturesque Mid Wales countryside, just northwest of Welshpool, Stabal y Nant Cottage offers a charming and luxurious holiday retreat for up to 4 people, with a cosy living room and kitchen area downstairs, and double bedroom and twin beds upstairs. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings on our outdoor BBQ decking area, by the pond and stream below or on a nearby walk. Stabal y Nant is also close to several popular attractions including Powis Castle and Lake Vyrnwy.

It Sleeps 4, there is a kingsize bed and two singles in the second bedroom. Recently refurbished throughout with a new fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The sitting room has a log burner and QLED TV. Super fast fibre broadband throughout.

Set in 24 acres, overlooking Welshpool, a stone barn recently converted to a high standard. Backing onto woodland with quiet pathways taking you into Leighton and beyond. Providing comfortable accommodation for those wishing to explore the many natural and historical delights mid Wales and Shropshire has to offer. You are renting the entire property. All are welcome, along with your pets. Located near to Offa's Dyke Path. Many other walking and cycling routes.
