River Cottage Near Loch Lomond

River Cottage is a detached riverside property located in the quiet village of Croftamie on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This charming cottage has been finished to a high standard and enjoys lovely views over rolling fields. The spacious decking area overlooks the river "Catter Burn" and is an ideal vantage point for watching the abundance of local wildlife. As an added bonus, free riverside fishing is available from within the grounds of the cottage and there is direct access onto open fields. The open plan living space has two large sofas (one being a sofa bed, making it possible to accommodate up to four adults). Please note the supplement for the extra guests/sofa bed. The kitchen area is fully fitted with table and chairs for dining. We have excellent restaurants nearby - The Clachan in Drymen, is the oldest licensed pub in Scotland (1734) The Oak tree at Balmaha or The Old Mill in Killearn, all serve excellent food in a friendly atmosphere. We are delighted to welcome dogs as long as they bring their own beds, are not allowed on furniture and not left unattended. Worth noting that we have chickens roaming freely and the cottage is surrounded by fields which have livestock. We charge £10 per dog, per night and this can be paid at check in. This peaceful and private apartment comprises of the whole lower ground floor of a Georgian mansion house just off the A82 set in an incredible nine acre woodland garden with a riverside walk up to a beautiful loch. Glasgow City centre, Glasgow Airport and Loch Lomond are within 15-20 minute drive from the house which has private, secure parking.

Romantic getaway in Buzzard Lodge

Buzzard Lodge is a lovely place for a Romantic getaway for two. It is open plan living and has a wonderful view from all rooms. You can see down the Clyde Estuary and across to Ben Lomond in the distance. There is a full kitchen and although we are in a rural setting the shops for you to stock up are only a ten minute drive. You will enjoy the wood burning stove on the chillier evenings. Also the hot Tub is secluded and you can coorie around the Fire Pit after a BBQ. There is a garden area.
