Dragonfly Beach House in North Admiral

The ever-changing view of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound from our huge living room windows will provide a beautiful backdrop for your Seattle beach vacation. Cozy up in the living room to catch up with the world on our fast wifi network, stream programs on the smart TV or tune into cable, or sip a glass of wine with your traveling companions. The large dining room table provides a place to share gourmet meals whipped up in the spacious, bright kitchen or on the gas grill. This is a two-bedroom house. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and door that opens onto the patio and hot tub area. The second bedroom has a full-sized bed and serene reading area. The house's one bathroom has a large claw-foot soaking tub with shower. Conveniences: fast WIFI, smart TV with cable and streaming capabilities, washer & dryer, coffee & tea, all bedding, towels, and robes for the hot tub provided. We live nearby and are always available by text, phone, or e-mail, but otherwise respect the privacy of our guests. It is a short walk to Alki Beach, which is one block away, or the local shops and restaurants. Venture slightly further afield to explore downtown or go even further for some wonderful outdoor adventures. Parking: Admittedly difficult. Our garage was built along with the house in 1910 and is very small. On-street parking is not available on our street. If your car can't squeeze into the garage, it might be necessary to park up to a block away. Alternatives: Uber cars and taxis are readily available all over Seattle. Guests can catch a shuttle bus on Alki Ave that will take them directly to the pier where the water taxi departs for downtown Seattle. The regular Metro bus stop is also just about a block from the house.

Privacy and the perfect view, stunning sunsets, ocean waves, and majestic mountain ranges are all your companion at Alki cottage. The cottage is on the bottom floor, expect city noise and some people noise from floor above. Enjoy the view from inside our spacious accommodations or relax on the deck in the hottub with a glass of wine. Alki beach and Schmitz park are all an easy 5 min stroll away. Want to explore Pike Place market, the space Needle or Aquarium it’s all a 10 minute ferry ride.

Within a 10 min drive, you'll find more local attractions such as Alki Beach, and the walk-on water taxi which runs to/from downtown Seattle at nearby Seacrest Park.

Hot Tub is Private, NOT SHARED and fully fenced in. Minutes from downtown Seattle and a couple of blocks to charming West Seattle! Lots of restaurants, shopping and a water taxi from Alki Beach (2 miles away) to Seattle's waterfront. We converted our garage into a getaway oasis, charming and comfortable. We have wifi, a free parking space reserved and an EV Charger (with Tesla adapter).
