St Ives sits on the river Ouse with a pretty quayside and excellent independent shops, cafes, and restaurants. There is a carpark directly opposite the pod. We are a 2 minute walk to the river and shops of St.Ives. It is just a ten minute walk to St Ives’s famous ‘Guided Busway’, where regular buses will whizz you into Central Cambridge in less than 40 minutes

A charming apartment located within the Grade 1 listed Layer Marney Tower! This apartment is situated within the main building of the Tower but benefits from its own private entrance and is completely self-contained. The apartment comprises an entrance lobby with a small kitchenette (microwave, fridge, kettle, tableware for 2), a 5-piece modern bathroom (shower, bath, toilet, sink, bidet) and a magnificent master bedroom with a huge four-poster bed. Comfortable and cozy flat

The flat is in walking distance to the town centre, Rowley Mile race course and Tattersalls. The July race course is about 20 minutes walk but there is a free bus Shuttle which leaves from the bus stop in the High St 2 hours before the first race. Please go to the jockey club website for more information. The flat is ten minutes from the A14, A11, 35 minutes from Stansted and is comfortable and warm. TV,wifi. No pets. Sandringham is worth a visit also High Lodge in the Thetford Forest.
