Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

Kingston Cottage

Kingston Cottage is a self-catering cottage situated 5 km from Franschhoek, neighbouring the beautiful La Motte Wine Farm and close to well-known destinations such Moreson, The Franschhoek Beer Co. and Maison. The property is a smallholding with a main house and additional cottage. It is home to three horses and our much-loved cat after whom Kingston cottage is named.
