A very calming place to be. Tuis, bellbirds, fantails, wax eyes, wekas, hawks and seabirds all here. Walking, cycling, kayaking and horse riding are all possible. Punakaiki (Pancake Rocks), Paparoa National Park, Caving, Denniston plateau, Constant Bay, Truman Track, and a Seal Colony are all close.
