The picturesque setting on the canal bank means you are directly between the Falkirk Wheel and the famous Kelpies, the perfect base for exploring!

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located pool house with breath taking views of the Forth Valley. 10 min walk to Polmont train station with train ride to Edinburgh or Glasgow in under 30 mins Accommodation is bright , airy and immaculate offering a real home from home feel. The pet friendly (two maximum), self contained unit is a detached annexe, internal dimensions are 6m x 4m. Set amidst beautifully Japanese gardens, it has modern amenities having been completed in May 2022. The guest house is ideally located in Central Scotland with motorway access to all areas North, South, East and West, 5 minutes drive from the location. The railway station at Falkirk High with a journey time of 20 minutes to both Glasgow and Edinburgh is a 10 minute drive.
