It is situated on a 20-acre rural property, with a 20-minute drive to downtown Tauranga and a 10-minute drive to Bethlehem and Tauriko Crossing, offering dining and shopping options. A deliberately different, John Henderson designed, slightly quirky B & B in Bethlehem, Tauranga - situated next door too, and run by the owners of Somerset Cottage, a long established restaurant and cookschool. You are always welcome to join us at the restaurant on one of the nights we're open - Wednesday to Saturday ( bookings tend to be necessary), or we can bring a restaurant meal over to you in the Studio if you'd prefer to dine in private. You'll love this unique and romantic escape.

There are great walks from the doorstep; around the estuary, which is just over the road, and beyond via the Omokoroa Cycleway. Further up the driveway you'll find the paddock with our two alpacas and a bubbling brook running through it. The cabin includes a kitchen with small oven, single induction hob and microwave. Fast wifi is included.
