We invite you to experience a relaxing and rejuvenating 'Retreat' or Get-A-Way in our Tree Home Suite on Whidbey Island WA...just 1 hour north of Seattle. You'll surely transend the bustle of busy life and be transformed as you immerse yourselves in this incredibly peaceful and healing environment. Enjoy 'full-circle' views of rich woods in our 250 Sq ft Octagon Tree Home with a gorgeous cedar tree going straight up through the center of the living space! A solid stairway travels 13 ft above the ground, leading to the 10' x 12' covered deck and your doorway to heavenly rest and retreat! Surround windows and skylights in the roof peak allow you to feel what it's like to be completely immersed in a beautiful, serene, healing forest of cedar, fir, hemlock, maple, alders, varieties of fern...and oh...enjoy watching and listening to our 'resident' deer, owls, ravens, eagles and many other birds. Look up through the skylight roof peak to behold a seemingly unending kaleidoscope view of tree limbs circling their trunks as they reach high in the sky. Be sure to see all the photos posted above including views of the beach, water and stunning sunsets over the Olympic Mountains.....easily accessible, less than 1/2 mile away. This gem is best suitable for adults, but we do allow children 12 and older too. Three adults can manage better than 4 because the hide-a-bed is a 'half-way-between-twin-and-double' size. However it has slats and an excellent quality foam mattress so it does not have the typical hide-a-bed 'bars' to contend with, nor does it sink in the middle. We provide single-sized, thick and dense foam pads and linens when needed for extra people. Please feel free to ask us how we can best meet your unique needs. Accommodations in the Tree House include: Queen Bed, "Sort of" Double Hide-a-bed Sofa (see paragraph above), Desk, Dining Table, Free Wi-Fi, Smart TV and DVD player. Duckless heatpump for heating and air. The electric 'Fireplace' adds warmth and ambiance. We provide a fridge (with freezer), microwave, dishes and silverware for prep and eating simple meals, warmed up left-overs, etc. We just don't allow 'cooking', using hot plates or fry pans, etc.... The fire pit may be used to enjoy a campfire and grill or roast hamburgers, hotdogs and marshmallows. Substantial cooking here with your own cooking equipment is not encouraged because that would require more extensive 'clean-up' than just a few dishes and utensils Our drain field is small and we want to keep the flow of gray water into it 'frugal' and biodegradable as much as possible. Your own private (and VERY cute) Shower House just a few footsteps away provides a shower, sink and state-of-the-art, no-odor composting toilet. We do have a porta-potty (marine type) on the deck of the Tree House for the middle-of-the-night needs so you don't have to trudge down in the dark to the composting toilet in the Shower House. The Main Cottage contains a bed for 2, bathroom, and kitchen, and the Studio functions as a spacious living room with TV, game table, and sectional. The buildings are surrounded by a fenced courtyard and patio which makes for a relaxing and private getaway. The community beach is just a short walk downhill. The Clinton Ferry is 3 miles away and Langley is a 15-minute drive.

The Milking Barn Tiny House

The Milking Barn is a tiny house on a farm in Langley near Freeland on Whidbey Island. This historic building was once used to store the day's milk production. The building has been carefully restored to make it a cozy tiny house. We are just 15 minutes from the ferry in Clinton. It's just 5 minutes to Double Bluff Beach and 15 minutes to downtown Langley. Located on beautiful south Fidalgo island, you are 7 minutes to Deception Pass bridge, 13 minutes to downtown Anacortes, and 17 minutes to the ferry terminal to the San Juan islands. Curl up with a good book, watch a movie or just relax and enjoy our beautiful view of north Whidbey island and Deception Pass. House on Penn Cove: Charming Low Bank Waterfront

The House on Penn Cove is located on a private road going down a cliff to no bank water front, so this a very private location. There is unobstructed Penn Cove views and the historic town of Coupeville can be seen across the cove. On clear days, you have a spectacular view of the Olympic Mountain range. The house has a Mid Century Modern design with particularly the Pink Kitchen being something that has to be seen.
