The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

The View at 52 is a beautifully presented, recently finished open plan self contained unit with off street parking and Zappi EV Charging. The property sleeps four people in a king size bedroom and another with twin beds, on the lower ground floor. There is a bathroom on this level too, and a door from the main bedroom leads out to the charming patio area, sat next to the North York Moors Railway line and with stunning views over to the Abbey. Upstairs, on ground level there is a cloakroom, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge.

This modern nautical themed ground floor apartment (accessed up 6 steps front and rear) is a short stroll to the beach, pubs and bustling town centre but ideally situated on the West Cliff to enjoy the quieter part of town. Spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with sofa-bed and fabulous views of the Abbey, one separate double bedroom and large separate walk-in shower room. Parking space onsite or car park 1 minute away. Shared use of the front patio to enjoy the views. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Sandside Retreat is situated in the heart of Whitby’s Old Town, at the foot of the iconic 199 steps leading to the Abbey. ; whilst tucked away for peace and quiet. Just a stone’s throw away from Tate Hill Sands, harbour, shops, restaurants and bars. Sleeping up to 3 guests, it features a cosy living room with separate kitchen/diner. There is a private patio which overlooks the sea towards the East Pier. Unlike many cottages to the East Side, there are no steps leading up to the cottage.
