Welcome to the Whitsundays, my name is Melanie and I will be your host. Our family home is tucked away in the backdrop of national parks. With the Whitsundays on our door step you are a short day trip to the Islands, Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach. The Whitsundays offers a great diversity of attractions, activities and experiences with the stunning backdrop of the Great Barrier Reef and 74 island wonders. You will find plenty to do when on holidays here from Bush walks to snorkel trips.

Step out the gate to the beautiful Gooseponds walk, which will take you past a skate park, exercise stations, playgrounds and the community pool , Taverns 500m either way from the front door, convenience/takeaway store across the street. Misty Mountain Cabin

My place is close to great views and plenty of wildlife. It is great for romantic getaways or exploring the rainforest to see birds, platypus in the creek at Broken River or just to hang out. The name "Eungella" means "land of cloud" so when you wake up in the morning you will likely be surrounded by thick cooling cloud which clears by about 9am to a beautiful sunny day with the wildlife just waiting to be discovered! Eungella is over an hour from Mackay.
