Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pets(dogs only) pets not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.

You may sit around your own covered fire pit (wind and burn restrictions permitting) as well as enjoy your own wood burning stove. No cleaning fee! This location is on the road system with room for RV's or trailers and alternatively accessible via float plane or ski plane.

Our cozy cabin is a lovely couple minute walk down to Christiansen Lake public access and less than 4 miles from the Talkeetna town center. Use the grill for a nice lunch in the sun or take the two provided beach cruiser bikes for a ride into town. Talkeetna offers epic flights seeing tours, scenic train rides to Denali Park, jet boat tours and much more. Winter visitors can enjoy miles of groomed cross country ski trails and amazing views of the northern lights.

The Airstrip - Runway Cabin

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your year round use. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.
