Richmond is home of Swan Island a great spot to explore via kayak or canoe or just grab the ferry! We're 45 min to all downtown Portland has to offer. We are an hour to Booth Bay Harbor and the beautiful botanical gardens. Popham beach is 45 min away, one of the most amazing beaches in state.

Finding Joy

This lovely apartment is above our garage. You can come and go as you please. We have created a place for peace and solitude. Sit on the deck or look out the dining room window and see the woods and wait for the birds and wildlife that may be wonder through the yard. There is coffee and tea available, along with basic breakfast supplies, if you wish. Keyless entry allows for you to come anytime after check-in. Please note, you have to be comfortable with stairs to access the apartment.

Bring your books, bikes and kayaks. Westport Island offers several preserves for hiking, a local brewery and is a central location to visit many nearby midcoast sights and activities.

"Ship Shape": waterfront, cozy studio- downtown

Located in a historic 200 year old building "Ship Shape" is close to downtown but on a quiet tree-lined residential street. It is just one block to the library, bookstore, post office and all the lovely shops. It is on the shore of the Damariscotta River with wonderful views from inside and out.. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the light, the outdoor space, and the comfortable bed. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

The Gallery Apartment

The Gallery apartment (3 night minimum) is a delightful spot for 2 or 3 visitors.. A Queen sized bed is in the bedroom and now a twin bed has been placed in the living area for separate sleeping. Spacious, bright, and airy, the apartment is above our home & my studio/gallery. The apartment is separate & includes its own entrance to ensure your privacy and convenience. It has been recently renovated. Superhost status from 2017 to 2023.

Classic New England style home, recently renovated and updated with modern amenities. A stone's throw from Portland's best public park, The Eastern Promenade. The Promenade boasts beautiful ocean views, a public beach, basketball & tennis courts & large playground. The neighborhood offers great restaurants and coffee shops. The Old Port and the rest of Downtown Portland is a 10 minute walk or 4 minute Uber ride away.
