Centrally positioned for visits to Durham, with its magnificent cathedral and castle, Newcastle , Barnard castle, Hamsterly forest, with its great walks and fun for the children River walks and trails locally, the river is 3 minutes walk away , Tunstall reservoir, Beamish museum and Auckland castle amongst many places to visit within a half hour drive. Local pubs, takeaway and restaurant within the village.
