Nearby amenities include a newsagent, an Indian restaurant, and a pub, all within easy reach. The Waterhouse is just a 15-minute drive from both the Norfolk Broads and Norwich city centre, making it a great base for exploring the area. I’m available if you need any assistance. Merlyn Cottage is a 200 year old, picture postcard, 2 bedroom cottage set in the heart of the village Hickling, within the Norfolk Broads. Families welcome. No pets. Parking at the front of the house. 2 minute walk to the Greyhound pub, 10 minute walk through the village to the Pleasure Boat Inn on Hickling Broad. Here you can hire day boats, rowing boats, kayaks and paddle boards. Ideal for bird watchers, walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. 3.4 miles from the beach, popular with seal watchers.

Located in a residential area of the Georgian town of North Walsham, the cottage is ideally situated for accessing the vibrant city of Norwich, the beauty of the Norfolk Broads and the breathtaking North Norfolk coast line. Only a 3 minute walk to the train station, and good amenities close by.

A shop and a great Indian restaurant within 1/2 mile walk, and a great pub about 1 mile away, however you really do need a car to get anywhere. A quiet location with only a handful of houses nearby. Eight miles from the centre of Norwich, on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, 15 miles to the beautiful beaches of the Norfolk coast. Lots to do, with both city and country life close by.
