A beautiful renovation with wool carpets, handmade kitchen and top-end appliances, its scrumptious dark green bathroom with walk-in shower, roll-top bath and plaster walls. We've furnished the with many modern touches, large original art, pottery, uncovered original beams, oak storage, and a complete underfloor heating system. We look forward to welcoming you. Watermill, beautiful village of Wye, North Downs

Listed watermill, mentioned in Domesday book, converted into a Georgian house in 1776, set in 8 acres, 100m from train station (Canterbury and London ). Wye has restaurants, pubs and shops in the village. Accommodation is in the old Mill, with 5 bedrooms (2 ensuite), (sometimes an extra bedroom and bathroom), a fully fitted new kitchen, a grand dining-sitting room over the river. Private terrace overlooking river, and 3-acre island , rowboat, wild water swimming. We welcome up to 2 dogs.

Further evening entertainment in nearby Canterbury (15 minutes by car or train) and wonderful beaches within easy reach.

It is separate from the main family home which offers a cosy/secluded space with an open-plan kitchen and living area. It is a relaxing place to spend many an hour watching the wildlife and enjoying the sights and sounds of Kent We have installed for your enjoyment day & night vision cameras so you can watch the birds and ducks by day and badgers and foxes at night.

Delightfully & individually decorated, it is one of a kind. Inside it is snug & romantic. Perfect for little breaks, peacefully isolated but still close to Canterbury and beaches. Walk in nearby woods, the local valleys or even (if very energetic) to the pub, it is the perfect couples' break.

Historic town of Canterbury is nearby but beach is only a short drive away too. Being just over an hour from London and 10 minutes from the Euro tunnel its ideal for a 'quick stop off' or a 'tranquil get away'.
