The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

The choice is yours to relax around the wood-burning stove, escape to the wilds of Dartmoor and beyond or enjoy a local cider in the 16th-century pub opposite.

Fourteen Providence Place is a traditional Cornish farmer’s cottage, full of character and charm. Built from local stone, it has the sturdy, timeworn feel of a home that has stood for generations. The cottage sits in a tucked-away corner of Calstock, away from the roads, giving it a quiet, almost timeless setting. Inside, you’ll find the cozy proportions and simple features you’d expect from an old Cornish dwelling with sense of warmth that makes it feel instantly welcoming.

This is a perfect base to explore the South West and Dartmoor. There is a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room. A beautiful bathroom with a clawfoot bath and a separate wet room shower, and two bedrooms (1 single). Please note, there are no laundry facilities.

A lovely cosy barn conversion with beautiful views over the Tamar Valley. Located on a working farm of over 240 acres, in the heart of the Tamar Valley, The Granary is a single storey stone, semi-detached barn conversion with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The holiday cottage has a shared field and play area for children or Dogs to use. We only allow 1 well behaved dog per stay.
