Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is situated a short 12minute walk away at the bottom of the homes private driveway.

The Hutts Clocktower is a standalone building and perfect for 2 people - located in the award winning Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park which is an open-air gallery home to 80+ striking contemporary sculptures, showcased in a tranquil valley setting. Built in 1827, this architectural gem, is nestled within 12 acres of private grounds featuring diverse woodland, gardens and an ornamental lake and bridge, just a few minutes drive from Windermere's shore, Cartmel’s world renown restaurants and the southern lakeland fells. The holiday let is situated in the west wing of the house with it’s own private garden, driveway, parking and entrance.
