Summer Kitchen

This renovated ‘summer kitchen’ is close to Gettysburg battle field and Gettysburg university. There are a set of fairly steep steps that lead to the bedroom, so please ensure that you are able to climb these (see pics). There is a small sitting room, bathroom and kitchenette on the first floor, and the bedroom is the only thing on the 2nd floor. There is plenty to do in historic Gettysburg, or if you like to ski or snowboard, Ski Liberty is only about 20 mins away!

Hiking nearby at Colonel Denning State Park, Audubon Hawk Watch, Opossum Lake and Little Buffalo State Park. Outdoor fire pit next to the creek and propane fire pit on the back porch for rainy days. PLEASE NOTE - the cabin is in the woods, you will encounter bugs and animals.

You Can have a seat on the large porch overlooking the Conodoguinet creek and enjoy watching nature , watch your kids playing and splashing in the creek , make dinner with the BBQ grill on the back patio or be just plain lazy ! There is no tv at this place , our goal is to have our guests enjoy nature and in this way be refreshed and ready to go back to work.

The Red Barn is located in a very rural setting about 10 miles from Gettysburg. The Red Barn is approximately 1/2 mile off the main road and within a stone's throw of the Mason Dixon Line. If you are looking for a quiet space with not super internet this is the place. Plenty of books to read, miniature donkeys to watch playing with their border collie pal and on a clear night - see some awesome stars!

The Wrens Nest

This cozy home with covered front porch and open back deck is a great place to enjoy country sunrises or relaxed afternoons! An affordable & comfy place to spend the weekend or while enjoying the area attractions. With high-speed Internet it has made a great place to stay for business people & traveling nurses. The Oasis is a 186 acre property with 65 acres of woods and streams and 120 acres of crop land. The Barn sits at an elevated point overlooking a pond and picturesque valley with the opportunity to view stunning sunrises! Wildlife abounds on the property, with deer sightings common. The Oasis is very private, but minutes from Rt 30, Rt 15, Rt 76 and Rt 81.
