Being right on the Savannah River, there is no other place to be in Downtown Augusta. If you do want to explore the area, you are right in the heart of the Downtown with various activities always happening, be it the restaurant and bar scene, local art museums, the weekly farmers market(seasonal), multiple opportunities to exercise. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Maggie jo is a 1970 completely restore houseboat. She has got a full size refrigerator , gas range ,microwave and toaster oven. Out on the back deck she has a gas grill. The aft berth has 2 full beds that are extremely comfortable. Galley dinette make into bed and the couch in the saloon pulls out also. While on the decks you will see eagles, dolphins , gator or fishing jumping out of the water. I also have 2 tandem kayaks for your use.
