Just 10 minutes from Inverness and Beauly and 5 mins from the NC500, the farmhouse is an ideal base for exploring the Highlands while enjoying the quiet of the countryside. Perfect for two families or groups of up to 10 guests, with estate walks and frequent wildlife sightings, including red squirrels, osprey, roe deer and pine martens. After a day exploring, relax in the outdoor hot tub under the Highland sky.

Treetops Tree House Eco Cabin Wildwoodz

Treetop off grid eco cabin on the Black Isle, large french doors look out through the Scottish woodland, the cabin sleeps two in a very comfortable double bed, and has a large covered viewing deck. There is an outdoor kitchen area with a gas camping stove, pizza oven and table/ chairs. Being off grid there is no mains electric, lighting is provided through a mix of solar and battery lights. No running water, bottled water for drinking and washing is provided The cabin has a Woodburning stove.

Two nights or more recommended - you will regret it if you don't! Our Orchard Room looks out over our small orchard (figs, plums, apples, pears and cherries, plus grapes in our greenhouse). The Orchard Room offers a kingsize bed without a footboard (better for tall guests!). The spacious Meadow Room (single bed plus breakfast table and vintage sofa) is decorated with original watercolours mainly by Vee and her family. The Black Isle has so much to offer. Dunaincroy farmhouse enjoys a unique setting on the Caledonian Canal midway between iconic Loch Ness and the town of Inverness (6 minutes either way.) Set in an historic Highland estate this secluded location has extensive, fully fenced gardens down to the canal and spectacular views to open countryside and the hills beyond. The wilderness of the highlands and yet only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.
