The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

We would love to share our Island house with you if you are looking for a bit of adventure or solitude in a beautiful setting in the bush away from mainland NZ. The views over Schoolhouse Bay from our deck are breathtaking & the calls of the native birds are music to the ears. Our house is in a very private setting nestled in the bush but handy being only 5 mins walk up the hill from the main Schoolhouse Bay wharf. We are half an hours walk away from the Historic & beautiful Mansion House .

The George Cabin - Kawau Island

A perfect island getaway! Kawau Island -1 hour drive from Auck to Sandspit, a 40 min boat ride to Smelting House Bay. 'The George' is a 5 minute walk from Lidgard Wharf. Come by ferry or your own boat. The George is set amongst the ferns & native flora, getting late morning sun. See wekas and wallabies on your walks. We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

B/rm 2 has a K bed or it can be altered to become 2 SG. It has an open plan living area which is very sunny, opening onto a large deck. The property also has a beautiful private spa.
