Our historic cottage is nestled on the side of the dramatic Shibden valley, famous as the home of Ann Lister, 'Gentleman Jack'. Shibden View offers luxury, self-catering accommodation for up to four adults. Situated on the cobbled Hough, our recently renovated, 18th century building boasts two en-suite bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen/diner and a cosy , first floor lounge with panoramic views over Shibden Hall and estate. The village is named after Sir Titus Salt who built a textile mill, known as Salts Mill and this village on the River Aire back in the 1800s. There are many reasons why you should visit Saltaire from the spectacular architecture, to the independent shops and restaurants scattered around the village.
