It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

The property has remote gate access with secure parking directly outside the cottage. Some highlights include uncapped WiFi, solar power backup, a four poster queen bed, two single day-beds, a smart TV and a trendy kitchen with a fridge, microwave and air fryer. Woodsong Cottage - Self Catering

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming. The cottage is not suitable from small children. The cottage is not pet friendly.

Large open plan bedroom with open truss ceilings, wooden floors and a large cupboard with kitchenette and bathroom which consists of a shower, toilet and basin. The unit uses a gas geyser. Wifi and tv run off an inverter during power outages. This unit is not equipped for cooking, but an air-fryer is provided. These units have wooden floors which some guests may find noisy.

We offer a wonderful country escape, the entire house is yours, and you will love the open space and light from the large glass windows and entrances on either end of the building.
