The ground floor consists: entrance hall; lounge with wood burning stove, & TV; well equipped kitchen; utility room with washing m/c and toilet. Upstairs: two bedrooms (1 kingsize & 1 double bed) bathroom with bath & separate shower. The cottage has gas central heating.

Wastwater shepherd's hut comes complete with a double bed, kitchen area with induction hob and a bathroom with shower. Perfect place to start numerous walks from the doorstep including many of the popular Wainwright hills such as Scafell Pike and Illgill Head. Easy access to the lake for kayaking etc.

West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

Alexander's Barn is located within the village of Kirkland with views over Ennerdale Water being just 1 .5 miles from Ennerdale Bridge, a short drive from some beautiful Lakes and only 5 miles from Whitehaven and the picturesque harbour. This makes an ideal base for the Western Lakes with great walks right from your doorstep with the C2C cycle route going through the village. Outside, you can walk or cycle from the door in the Cumbrian countryside in either direction. The nearby coastal village of St Bees is a short 10/15 minute drive. It is also a perfect base to explore the Lakes- Ennerdale Water is less than 6 miles away, Wasdale, Borrowdale and Loweswater are also close.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
