Enjoy the wonderful wildlife which include bald eagles, osprey, beavers, ducks and many more. If you’re hungry, you can order delicious pizza from a real Sicilian in town or fine dine at the Accomac Inn which is just a 5 minute walk down river. Perfect road for a walk, run, or bike ride. The living room features a comfy sofa and chair for reading with queen sofa bed and tv, 1st floor full bath walk in shower. 2nd floor has a lofted ceiling with a queen bed, vanity, tv, desk and chair. Take advantage of nearby golfing, scenic views, historical sites, ghost tours, museums, or take a guided bus tour of the battlefields.

The Antietam Toll House (@antietamtollhouse) is a renovated historic property circa 1800. Sitting on the bank-head of the Antietam stream, this cabin has it's own private fishing hole. Secluded, yet close to amenities and attractions, this property is the perfect place for an artist retreat, respite from the city or a base from which to explore local gems of the area. Wineries, Appalachian Trail, Antietam, Gettysburg battlefields, Ski Liberty, Catoctin , Cunningham Falls and more nearby.

(all within 3 miles) We are central to Gettysburg and Hershey (30 miles), Harrisburg,Carlisle, Boiling Springs, Allen Berry Play house, the Appalachian Trail, and LeTort Spring Run! (all within15 miles)

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

Enjoy the coziness of the BirdHouse. Our kitchen has the necessities to cook. We provide olive oil, spices, salt and pepper, farm fresh eggs, coffee filters, and trash bags. For the bathroom we provide starter shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, and of course the towels. Linens provided also. Enjoy the courtyard area with its gas fireplace and seating area. Cook on the gas grill and enjoy a meal at the bistro table. Please come and relax!

Mom's Cottage

Mom's Cottage sits on the shore of Lake Kay in the shadow of Liberty Mountain. Gettysburg battlefield is ten miles away and two golf courses are nearby. Jacks Mountain Road covered bridge, Michaux State Forest, including the Appalachian Trail, Pine Grove Furnace, and Caledonia SP are nearby. Other local features include Mount St. Mary's, Cunningham Falls SP, and Catoctin Mountain Park. A paddle boat and two kayaks are available.
