The Barn. Hot tub optional extra.

Overlooking the Chilterns, dating back to 1740 Marquis House was originally a pub. The Barn is where the beer was kept, but now it offers sumptuous accommodation for you to relax. Independent access and self contained for your privacy. The Barn has everything you need including a log burner and 50" TV in the lounge, a hand made King Size bed and an extensive kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine (open the stable door to take in the view). Optional log fired hot tub.

Ashwell has a wealth of architecture with a 14th century church & museum, freshwater springs, 3 pubs, shops & galleries.

Perfect for walking, cycling, or Airport related stay . Luton Airport, Harpenden, Hitchin stations are all 15-20 minutes away with easy access to the airport and London. Typical taxi fare to Airport is £15-20. The Stables has two large bedrooms, large lounge and kitchen. Vaulted ceilings throughout make for an airy feel.

The Little Barn is a converted , self contained barn in a village location. You have your privacy but I am next door to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious, yet homely and quiet and near to two lovely pubs and coffee shop/plant nursery with fab food and a little post office/shop. There are many walks from the house and the A1M/A505 is minutes away for those travelling north, south or to Cambridge. NO PETS sorry! The Abbey entrance gate is 0.4 miles away, you can walk through the deer park & extensive grounds. A public footpath takes you to the Elephant house & beyond. We are on the route of the famous Greensand Ridge & boast a lovely local pub the "Rose & Crown", serving good British food.
