The tranquil sound of the water fountain sets the mood for Shady Rest. (removed during winter) Unwind in the therapeutic hot tub. (open all year long) Watch the 12 ft. windmill twirl as it catches the wind. Resident ducks will provide fun entertainment. End the day with a night fire around the fire pit. No matter what the season, Shady Rest “on blue pond” is sure to create an unforgettable experience. Property not suited for small children due to deep pond next to the Airbnb. No pets allowed

Country Haven

Relax in the country setting overlooking farmland while spotting the deer and foxes playing in the back yard. Enjoy quiet peaceful evenings while sitting on the patio watching the sun set. Just 1/4 mile away is the Lake Arrowhead walking trail. Enjoy a nature walk on the wooded trail. Enjoy home cook meals at the local family restaurant just 1.5 miles away. Plenty of yard for outside activities with plenty of shade from the giant oak tree. Just 7 miles from the new Marion Spirts Complex.

This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

The Blonde Treehouse w/Hot Tub near Shawnee Forest

Reconnect with nature at our unique treehouse Aframe stay near ALL of the hiking. Just minutes from downtown Marion, IL. Sporting a 7ft tube slide, sleek black exterior and natural wood tones and lighting. The Blonde is small and mighty with an airy studio feel but packed with all of the necessities of a full sized home. This stay also includes its very own nature trail! Come ready to see lots of wildlife and explore Southern Illinois! Our 2 treehouses are secluded but do share a property!

LilyPad-pondside cabin, kayaks, trail, country

Great for a couple, an outdoorsman, or travelers! This cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I57 access, and public hunting land and within 1 hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Includes use of kayaks, fishing poles for the catch & release pond, and a walking trail. Bow target use available upon request. Gas grill, firepit and firewood. PLEASE NOTE: its a 12x20 studio cabin with 1 full bed and 1 twin sized foam couch sleeper. We don't allow pets.

Come check out the Recently added Fire 🔥 pit and Patio! Come relax with the whole family at this peaceful, country setting…10 minutes from Rend Lake & 10 minutes from town. Enjoy the cozy inside or the patio outside and watch the wildlife. Cook a savory meal in the kitchen or grill those yummy steaks or burgers on the grill outside... Suitable for families or a romantic getaway. The outside of property is a work in progress, but we’ll usable. Excuse the reconstruction!

This house was in my husband's family. His mother, Marie, moved in when she was 6 months old in 1917. This house holds a lot of great memories for me! A perfect stay for family reunions, homecomings and vacations! We have a complete kitchen, one and a half baths and 3 bedrooms to make your stay comfortable and access to the internet and TV.
