The Lower Village Lofts *North* is a newly renovated large studio apartment located in the heart of the action - just steps from Dock Square (downtown Kennebunkport) and 1/2 mile to the beach! Ideal for couples, families, hikers, and music lovers, the apartment is minutes from Stone Mountain Arts Center and less than one mile from AMC hiking trails—a quiet, scenic base for outdoor recreation, concerts, and exploring western Maine.

Built roughly 200 years ago, the traditional cape housing this first-floor apartment is located on a hilltop above the Royal River, just steps from restaurants, trails, and waterfront. It's been thoroughly renovated, and features pretty much all the comforts of home—including a full kitchen with dishwasher, a wood-burning fireplace insert, an all-natural mattress (super comfy), and a clawfoot tub-equipped bathroom. Have a sit in your private sauna, and take in the abundant birdsong of the neighborhood from your private back patio while you sip your morning coffee. Just down the road (5 minutes) to downtown Portland, Willard Beach, or Knightville, and 10-15 minutes to Scarborough and Cape Elizabeth beaches.

Several excellent dining spots, coffee shops, and markets are all within walking distance from the house. Bike rentals are 2 blocks away! The local beach is a 5-minute drive /10-minute bike ride.

We decorated with a Bohemian Treehouse style. Perfect size for a single person or couple. We brought some of our most cherished art and plants from our own home. Enjoy!
