Mongolian Yurt on Chebeague Island

Experience the magic of an authentic Mongolian yurt. The yurt is exquisitely charming, nestled in a private clearing in the woods. From this central location, explore island beaches and wooded island trails. Outdoor fire pit & firewood, cozy warm heater inside the yurt. Fan for summertime. Solar lights inside and out, beefy battery for electronics. Internet. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking: stovetop, fridge, sink, water. The host will provide transport from the ferry to/from the yurt.

Imagine staying in a yurt in the woods of Chebeague Island, nestled in a private clearing in the woods. Explore island beaches and hidden trails. This yurt is “glampy” inside with leather chairs and a substantial log bed. The yurt has a rusticator kitchen with all of the basics for cooking: fridge, stovetop, sink, water, firepit & firewood. Outdoor shower. WiFi . Cozy heater for cool spring nights. Ferry options on Casco Bay Lines or CTC Ferry. Host provides transport to/from ferry to the yurt.

Mt. Cutler Yurts Chickadee Yurt

Yurt for rent, sleeps up to 5, futon, bunk beds and cot. Direct access to the Mt. Cutler trails in Hiram Maine. 25 minutes from North Conway New Hampshire which offers skiing, hiking, climbing, shopping and restaurants. Canoe and kayak take out point on the Saco river is half mile away for summer activities. A practice climbing wall is at the location for experienced climbers providing that they have shoes, harness, and rope. Climbers must also display proper belay technique. Campfire wood $10

Tree Yurt

The Tree Yurt is quite literally a yurt in the trees. Surrounded by nature, this is YEAR ROUND GLAMPING close to Portland. Water for the outdoor shower and outdoor sink is seasonal Typically May through October. We do provide water for colder months. A main house sits closer to the driveway and There is a chance the house and the yurt will be rented out at the same time. The yurt is about 200 feet from the house and the only shared space is the driveway, so it is actually very private :)

Mt.Cutler Yurts Tall Pines Yurt

The yurt is located at the base of Mt Cutler in a tall stand of trees. Hiking trails are close by as well as the Saco river for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. North Conway New Hampshire is 25 minutes away which offers skiing, rock climbing, restaurants and shopping. It is a very quiet, peaceful, secluded setting. The Chickadee yurt is also located on the property if you have larger parties staying, it also sleeps up to 5 people An outdoor solar shower is available for the warmer months.

"Sunset Yurt" Off Grid Mountain Yurt

Experience your own off-the-grid R & R nature retreat in Sunset Yurt. It is located up a short hike slope side, offering sweet & forested beauty with westerly views through the tree tops. Sit on the circular deck and take a time out to retreat, rest, renew. "Unplug" from your day to day & reconnect. The yurt does not have solar power or wi-fi. We provide you with oil lights, tea lights, a 2-burner propane stove and heat by wood-stove. This yurt does not accommodate pets.

Sunset Yurt - on island w/ beautiful historic fort

This beautiful yurt has a queen bed and a lovely daybed/couch that converts into two twins (pull out trundle underneath). It is one of 7 yurts and tent cabins that make up "Fortland" on House Island (a 10 minute boat ride from downtown Portland). Luxury linens and towels are provided. Toilets are centrally located in a post and beam outhouse.  Each of our sites has its own portable solar shower. Parking & boat transport to the island are included in cost of your stay.

Yes, we really do live on Lovers Lane, where the wildflowers bloom each year! There's room for frisbee and to enjoy the peacefulness of our yard. It's pretty quiet here in the oak forest, but we're close to so many great places - Portland, ocean, rivers, trails, and mountains. Gorham has become a mountain biking destination and we've got some great trails outside your door! We welcome all people here and strive to hold an inclusive and safe environment.

"Mt. Brook Yurt" Off Grid Mountain Yurt

Experience our magical yurt tucked under the tree canopy overlooking our spring-fed mountain brook. This yurt is accessible on foot (a 5 minute walk uphill). We provide garden carts and sleds in winter to bring your gear into the yurt. The yurt does not have solar power, running water, or wi-fi. We provide oil lanterns, tea candles, 2-burner propane stove and heat by wood-stove. This yurt does not accommodate pets.
