Our cabin is located right on the edge of Lacey-State Park, with two spacious bedrooms, fully furnished living room, kitchen and bath. Sit on the deck and watch the deer walk by, enjoy the peace and quiet, with plenty of space to park your boat and recreational vehicles. Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. Pets not allowed.

Captains Quarters Treehouse

An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. This treehouse is a full 2 story, 400 sq foot, and features second story bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink!

We are located approximately 18 miles from downtown Nauvoo via the bridge in Keokuk.

Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor fire ring. The amazing wildlife along the river is absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature, this is the cabin for you!
