Relax in this cosy country retreat in the beautiful village of Holbrook. Stone Trough Cottage is approx 150 years old with thick stone walls and original oak beams. Centrally heated plus a log burner for those cosy nights. There’s plush carpets and cosy bedrooms and lots of storage space. The village pub is one min walk The bus takes 10 mins to Belper, bustling with individual shops, bars and restaurants. 🐾 Pets welcome £25 per stay for up to two pets. Lower Hartshay is a hidden gem, a tiny rural village in Derbyshire. The cottage is along a former tow path behind a picket fence. Inside it boasts a quirky layout with log burner,beams and a stone stairwell to the large kitchen. Enjoy the paddock to the front and seating terrace to the rear looking over the brook.

Open plan self contained annex- Light and airy space comprising of three bedrooms- Bedroom 1-double Bedroom 2- two singles Bedroom 3- mezzanine floor double bed in loft space. and the lounge also has a sofa bed. There is a Jack and Jill bathroom with shower which can be locked off and you can request a second bathroom with bath upon booking. Private use of washing machine, dish washer and well equipped kitchen. Dog and child friendly lots of games and toys provided. Autism friendly.
