The house is located in the quiet residential area of Marshside which is nestled between the RSPB nature reserves and coastline and Churctown with its pubs, bars, eateries, shops and Botanical Gardens. There are a few golf course nearby with many more in the area including The Open Golf Championship Course of Royal Birkdale. The house also has easy access to Southport (about a 5 min drive) and Ainsdale Beach (about a 12 min drive both by using the the scenic Marine Drive which follows the coast.

The award winning Formby beach is just a 20min walk. Formby is great for shopping and eating out with a variety of busy popular bars and restaurants that are well worth a visit. Two adults or a small family are very welcome. Hot Tub included in the price. Hot tub is automatically switched off at Midnight.

Coffee & Sandwich bar 1 minute walk , Royal Birkdale / Hillside Golf courses 2 minute drive. Tea tray provided. The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

Birkdale village, Ainsdale & Southport 2, 3 mins & 8 mins by train respectively. Walking distance to Hillside and Royal Birkdale golf courses, cycling distance to Ainsdale Birkdale and Southport with sand dunes, beach, marine lake, cafes, bars and eateries. Southport Flower show, the Open and Aintree are regular events we are perfectly situated for.

The Annexe

The Annexe is a self contained property directly opposite our family home. All fixtures and fittings have been thoughtfully planned to ensure you have a comfortable stay. There is one large double bedroom with a luxurious king size bed, an open plan living area with a smart TV, log burner for cozy nights and electric heating. The bathroom has a large walk in electric shower. The property is suitable for up to two adults (not suitable for children/toddler’s due to the large pond nearby).

The apartment also has off street parking for one car, with plenty of on street parking available too.
