Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It's a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

Enjoy scenic walks along the nearby canal path or visit Arnside, just 10 minutes away, for coastal views and top-notch fish & chips. A perfect base for exploring the countryside

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Situated on private grounds the converted rustic, small, stone built barn with adjoining kitchen, shower & toilet pod-NOTE TOILET IS NEXT DOOR TO THE SLEEPING AREA - SEE PHOTOS. The sleeping area has woodburning stove, 2 armchairs, chest of draws, radiator & superking sized bed (can be converted into 2 singles upon request). Surrounded by fields & 500 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Ulverston. It is situated 10 minutes from the start of the Cumbria Way walk.

(A babe in arms is welcome) 1 small pet allowed The apartment is a minute walk to all the amenities of Cartmel which includes the Race course and the famous Michelin starred Restaurants. We are just far enough from the villiage centre to be peaceful and relaxing. Tea and coffee is provided together with a welcoming drink. We also provide a free permit for on street Parking just outside the front door.

The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.

There is a pub within 5 walk with a further 4 pubs 40 minutes walk away in Cartmel, there is parking outside the cottage for two cars.
