Dark Horse provides stylish self-contained villa accommodation near forest and beaches on the stunning Barrington Coast, NSW. Set on our 10 acre farm on the site of an old dairy, we've built a unique one bedroom retreat including some of the original timbers to create an airy open plan space opening onto views of the small valley and paddocks, picking up the sea breezes. We're located just 8kms north of Nabiac on the Mid North Coast, just off the Pacific Highway. Forster is a 10 min drive.

Hunter Valley - "Outta Range" Rural Cabin

Your accommodation is set in the beautiful Congewai valley, close to the wineries of the Hunter Valley, the Hope Estate to catch that concert of choice, the Hunter Valley Gardens, Ballooning and many more activities. The historical town of Wollombi is a short country drive. We are only 400 metres to access a section of the Great North Walk where you can walk to the top of the mountain or further. Bring your mountain bikes to enjoy a quiet easy ride through this spectacular pastural valley.

Valley View Cabin-Fosterton Retreat

Beautiful accommodation in a fully self-contained cabin, with panoramic views of the Barrington Tops. A separate queen bedroom and bathroom with spa bath, well equipped kitchenette and lounge area, full size stove and fridge, microwave, BBQ, verandah & private firepit. Linen is supplied. Ideal for a romantic weekend away. This cabin has a pull out lounge if you are travelling with friends. There is other accommodation on the 100 acre property but they are well set out to provide privacy.

Nestled on 7 acres of native bushland, this architect designed home boasts complete privacy and commands spectacular views across to the Barrington Tops through its extensive North facing windows. Featuring open plan living with polished timber floors and vaulted ceiling the feeling is relaxed, bright and spacious and the perfect antidote to a hectic life. We have 2 bedrooms with king sized beds, one which splits into two singles.

The Great North walk runs through the property allowing quests easy access to beautiful walks. Enjoy getting back to nature with the varied wildlife in the beautiful Congewai Valley. Romantic 1 bedroom slab timber cabin overlooking the Wollombi Brook and rural paddocks. Offering self-cater accommodation for a couple on the edge of Wollombi Village. We are a popular choice for wedding guests with a 6 minute drive to Redleaf, Mystwood and Woodhouse and 10 minutes to Stonehurst. Great base for exploring the Hunter vineyards, attending concerts, bushwalking or just relaxing and watching cows wander past.

Our secluded cottage, located just 20 minutes west of the Pacific Highway, provides a pleasant location to rest and recuperate from an adventurous day. When you stay here, you will be just 30 minutes west from some of the most breathtaking beaches this area has to offer. Additionally, we are one of the few Airbnbs in the area that do not charge cleaning fees and allow pets, making your stay even more convenient and enjoyable.
