The spacious loft is the perfect place to relax after a day's sightseeing or travelling. The private entrance means the space is completely your own to relax and enjoy a bit of TV or film, or find out more about the area and it's history The main room has a comfortable king size bed, TV and seating area. The house is located in the village of Banks, 1 mile from Lanercost Priory and 4 miles from the market town of Brampton. It is ideally located for day trips to the beaches of Northumberland, the Scottish Borders or the Lake District National Park.

It has a private drive and garden with a terrace looking directly onto the lakeland fells. Plenty to do nearby: Takin Tarn, Hadrian's Wall, Lakes and Dales, Rhegged Centre.

An ‘Amazing Spaces’ inspired shipping container conversion, set in a peaceful secluded wildlife friendly garden, at the foot of the Pennine hills. The container is a 5 minute walk from the picturesque Talkin village which has a friendly pub serving food. A woodburning stove (logs supplied) ensures the container stays cosy in all weathers. It makes an excellent base to explore Hadrian's Wall, the North Lakes and the Eden Valley.. or a perfect stop off point on your way to or from Scotland.

Cosy shepherds hut on Hadrian’s Wall

A basic and cosy shepherds hut a few minutes walk from the Hadrian’s Wall trail, tucked away on a tiny campsite (Camping at Banks), a no vehicles site where you can enjoy the sounds of nature. The hut has a wood burning stove, bottom sheets and pillows. You can hire sleeping bags from us. There is a compost loo and outside sink but no shower or electricity. The hut is suitable for those arriving by foot or bicycle - there is NO PARKING on the site. Single night stays welcome!

2 Graham Cottage, Talkin, Brampton, North Pennines

Talkin village is a lovely location with a great pub. Our cottage is the perfect base to explore Hadrian's wall, the Lake District, Carlisle and the Pennines. We are lucky enough to have the Beautiful Talkin tarn just on our doorstep. The cottage was formerly the village postoffice, it has been fully renovated to high standard and is the perfect place to relax in front of the log burner after a day exploring the local area.

The Pheasant Hut

Situated on the banks of the River Irthing, and a short walk from Lanercost, this is the perfect stop for walkers exploring Hadrian's Wall Country or for anyone simply wanting to connect with nature and switch off. At Holmehead there are 2 huts, The Pheasant and The Partridge Huts, with a holiday cottage coming soon, making it a great place for a family or group holiday.
