On New Year's Day, 2024, the landscape of the coastline was drastically changed by a tectonic movement once every several thousand years, and the earthquake caused extensive damage to the village. Located in the Kazuemachi Chaya district, which is designated as a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Built in 1898, this Machiya house retains its quaintness and is decorated in a modern style, mixing interiors from various nationalities and eras. "Kazuemachi" is a quiet town, not crowded with tourists. Please relax in the calming atmosphere of the traditional Japanese room, unwind in the authentic ‘hinoki’ wood bathtub made of fragrant cypress.

5 minutes walk from Tonami Station. Renovated from a former restaurant founded in the Meiji era and built in the early Showa era. It is built using a local cedarwood. You can spend extraordinary time in a quiet in a renovated house with a Hagama bath, a coffered ceiling, and a garden. This room has 134.16㎡ and can accommodate up to 6 people. With 2 semi-double beds and 4 sets of Futon, you will have a pleasant and comfortable stay with friends or family (^ ^)

"Hinoki no ie" is a wooden house surrounded by the nature of the Noto area. It's located right in-between of Kanazawa and Oku-Noto and it's about an hour by car from both, making it convenient for sightseeing. You can relax in the living room, the Japanese-style room or the cozy open space. The bath is made of hinoki, Japanese cypress. When you step into the bathroom your whole body is enveloped in the scent of the wood. The sea is also very close.
