A truly luxurious couples retreat! This private villa style getaway has its own private access and and deck space to relax in and features an hot outdoor shower. Fitted out with quality furnishings and fixtures and is equiped with everything you need! Location really doesn't get better than this. You are across the road from beautiful Blue Lagoon Beach! With Bateau Bay Beach Cafe 150m away. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and electric frypan. Note not cooktop or oven.

Little House on Dawson

This is a beautiful little self contained bungalow located at the back of my house. You will have everything you need for a comfortable and unique stay in this (EXTREMELY!) light-filled space. All the windows are leadlight and the soaring window at the front (from a 100 year old church in the Hunter Valley) adds to the distinctive charm. You will have your own access. You can park in the driveway or on the street (unrestricted on weekends and after hours. Otherwise its a 2hr limit from 9am-5pm

Hi, welcome to my beautifully renovated coastal style unit. Enjoy an easy stroll to Merewether Beach for a coffee at Blue Door, or a cocktail at the renowned Surfhouse. Lingard Hospital is within walking distance, as is a laundromat, post office, bottle shop and numerous cafes and bars. The unit sleeps 2 adults, and has the availability of a portacot. There is a small outdoor area and a parking space, so you can leave your car and walk to all that Merewether and Newcastle has to offer.

Palm Cottage is located close to the lake and is a great base to explore vineyards, mountains, beaches, the city of Newcastle and so much more. Spacious open plan accommodation, 1 bedroom with queen sized bed, modern bathroom, kitchenette, 2 living areas, dining area and indoor/outdoor sitting areas and WiFi. Laundry is available on request. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil, romantic getaway! Enjoy the amazing views while you relax in this private waterfront sanctuary. During the day, use the private jetty to dive, SUP, kayak, fish or just laze around soaking in the rays. At night indulge in a cocktail and freshly made pizza from your personal pizza oven. Then sit around the fire pit while enjoying the amazing sunset. We provide firewood for one night, and supply and deliver extra for $30 / bag.

The Collectors Studio is a unique, eclectic space designed for couples or solo travellers to have a relaxing few nights away. Its the perfect summer or winter getaway with our old wood burner fireplace and clawfoot bathtub to keep you cosy in the cooler months, and Blue Lagoon Beach only 1 block away to enjoy in the warmer months!

Our charming studio is only 3 meters from the lapping waters edge of Lake Macquarie. Just relax and watch the yachts sail by, magnificent views. It's quite romantic to sit in the moonlight and feel the lake breeze in the evening. Through day you might like to try your luck at a spot of fishing from our jetty or enjoy a stroll down the main street looking through the boutique shops of Toronto 2 minutes away. A row of gourmet cafe/restaurants that face the lake.

Whether stopping through or wanting to explore one of the best coastal cities in Australia, The Oak Studio is equipped with all you need for a coastal stay. The Oak Studio is a peaceful space & we are situated in a quiet location, within walking distance to some of the best beaches in Australia, beach-side popular restaurants plus train & bus routes. Perfect for singles or couples. Infants and children under 15 not welcome due to layout.

It is only a 200m walk across Empire Park to the beach and a bit further along to great surf breaks and ocean baths. Walk along the Bather’s Way from Bar Beach to Merewether or up to the ANZAC Memorial Walk and into Newcastle city.
