The famous American publisher Samuel S McClure emigrated to America from here in 1866. The main Belfast to Coleraine carriageway is less than 5 mins away so is an ideal touring base to explore the Causeway Coast and Glens. The village of Cloughmills is approximately 1 mile away where there are shops and a choice of eateries. Pet friendly.

The Lisburn Road area offers convenient access to Queens University, Botanic, City Hospital and Windsor Park Football Stadium. Belfast City centre is 2km from our home with a bus route at the top of the street. There are many great restaurants, cafes, bar and local convenience stores a short stroll away.

Seal Bay Cottage - Large garden with Sea view.

A recently renovated 120 year old workers cottage, set off the main road with private parking and a large back garden that leads directly to the beach. On a high tide the sea can come within a metre or so from the bottom of the garden. Whilst the beach is a public space it is typically only utilized by the residents due to the limited access points along the shore. The perfect setting to enjoy life by the sea and explore the beautiful Ards Peninsula.
