The space Dolly is an off-grid shepherd’s hut on the quiet edge of the Lake District, a few steps from a wood-fired sauna and a wild swimming pool. Bespoke, serene and quietly luxurious, she’s built for a couple or friends retreat, swapping notifications for birdsong, swimming at dawn, and deep sleep. A double bed at one end, a wood-burner glowing at the other, a small gas hob for breakfast. The walls are dusty pink, the linens are crisp, and the windows look out over fields of grazing sheep.

Kendal is 9 miles from Windermere which makes it a great base for exploring The Lake District.

Gorgeous 1 Bed Cottage - Tranquil - Lake District

Pip's Hideaway is our gorgeous 1 bedroom pet friendly holiday cottage situated on our family-run livestock farm, in the hamlet of Selside, close to Kendal and the Lake District. It was lovingly created from an old farm building in 2012 to a high standard keeping traditional features. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring all the Lake District has to offer. (A car is highly recommended) We are 9 miles from Bowness on Windermere , 11 miles from Ambleside and 23 miles from Keswick.
