Terrapin Természetvédelmi Park

This is a great park with access to the Cross Island Trail and a public beach. Parking is a bit inland, so there’s about a 10 minute walk, or short bike ride to the beach. Note that this is a nature preserve. Beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers are prohibited. Beach blankets and food are allowed.

Cross Island Trail

This is a very scenic and relatively flat biking and walking trail that runs east-west across Kent Island. It starts at Terrapin Nature Park and ends at Kent Narrows. The trail features shaded woodland areas, marshes and bridges.
