The loft is Walking distance from Hotel Vandivort, fine dining, breweries, night clubs, coffee shops, and a short drive to MSU and Drury.

The Short Stop Apartment

The Short Stop Apartment is ideal for us smaller folks, thus appropriately named the Short Stop Apartment. The duct work is 5'8", anybody taller than that will have to duck under it. The ceiling is 6'5", so beware giants. It is a stylish, spacious two bedroom basement apartment with a private entrance beneath our home. It is in a little wooded area in south Springfield only a mile south of Highway 60/James River Freeway and 10 minutes to Bass Pro Shop. Only six minutes to Cox Hospital.

Upscale studio apartment inside an office building. The space has everything that you would need for a night, a week or even extended travel. Boomer’s is great for a business traveler looking for a centrally located spot in Springfield. The building was previously a restaurant, and we kept the commerical bar for private use. Guests are welcome to lounge up front as we no longer use that space.
