The cottage has its own private garden and own entrance and is joined to the main house. The property has remote gate access, with secure parking directly outside the cottage. Unfortunately due to ongoing biosecurity measures access to the dairy and cattle areas will not be allowed. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)

Come experience tranquility! With access to waterfalls and forests you would not believe you are only 5 km away from the N3 highway. Book a picnic in a cove only a stone throw away from your luxurious cottage, or walk down to the river, an unfailing highlight for kids and adults alike. Do not be surprised to hear the fish eagle's call by day or the jackal at night, and be on the lookout for wildlife as warthog and nyala sightings are common.

eKuthuleni Glamping: Wooden cabin over the lake

Our wooden cabin over the lake offers a cozy and comfortable stay, with stunning views over the lake and the forests around the property. Enjoy the bird life of which there are a few species. You can enjoy the tranquility, or fish from the deck, or explore the nearby attractions. The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.

Fern Rivers Unit 3

Large open plan bedroom with open truss ceilings, wooden floors and a large cupboard with kitchenette and bathroom which consists of a shower, toilet and basin. The unit uses a gas geyser. Wifi and tv run off an inverter during power outages. This unit is not equipped for cooking, but an air-fryer is provided. These units have wooden floors which some guests may find noisy.
