Enjoy peaceful lakefront living at Heron Rock Cottage, where you can stroll through the woods, swim or fish off the dock, paddle the lake in kayaks, or simply relax and enjoy the wildlife and beautiful sunsets. Situated on 6 acres in Dinwiddie County, this newly renovated cottage includes 2 bedrooms, full bath, full kitchen, living room with fireplace and private patio with dining area. Your stay includes full access to the grounds and dock and you are welcome to tie up a boat if you bring one.

The Bird's Nest - Cabin by the River

Located on one of the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River, the Bird’s Nest is a brand new, custom built 800 square foot cabin featuring an open loft with king bed and skylights, steam shower, heated bathroom floor, and gas fireplace. Exterior amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, gas fire pit table, fire pit by the river, and private river access in a peaceful, wooded setting. Kayaks/tubes are available to use to float down the river with the unique ability to park/exit on the hosts’ property.

Pets: We welcome pets. If you have more than 2 pets, please contact us for approval. There is a pet fee of $50 for the entire stay.

The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

The Cottage has a full kitchen, a large king bedroom, a bright, window filled sitting area, and a new deck overlooking Upper Weldan Pond and acres of healthy, natural hardwood forest with nearly 4 miles of trails to explore. You'll also love just enjoying the deck and the beauty of the Virginia countryside.

Located half-way between Mathews and Gloucester on the beautiful North River with views of the Mobjack Bay, New Point Comfort Lighthouse and Gloucester Point. The ideal spot for anyone needing to reconnect with someone, nature, or themselves. Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, huge deck, and pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top of the line kitchen, cozy living room, and extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the firepit, and relax on the dock. There is two miles of trails on the 37 acre property with their own trail signs and map.
