Pullman Train Car at Rassawek

Our Pullman Car is one of 3 converted train cars available for rentals. The car was built by Pullman Co. in 1888. Guests staying in this car have access to the shared amenities of Rassawek Station including the patio “Flat Car” and our Lodge Cabin. Guests can also use the ponds on the property as well as the 5+ miles of private country roads for hiking, running and biking. The converted car has a living area, full kitchen, a bedroom with two double beds, a full bath with shower and a half bath.

Go back in time in this lovingly remodeled Norfolk & Western Caboose Car complete with a queen size bed, sleeper sofa, table for two, and bathroom. This unique and unforgettable B&B provides a complimentary breakfast, mountain beauty, 4+ miles of hiking trails, and many other outdoor areas to be enjoyed by our guests. Our caboose is the perfect car for guests with children to rent in conjunction with our Pullman or Boxcar. Guests staying in the Caboose have access to the shared amenities of Rassawek Station including the patio “Flat Car” and Lodge Cabin. Guests also have access to our surrounding ponds, 5+ miles of private country roads for hiking, running and biking. This caboose has a living room with sofa, dresser, and mini fridge with Keurig, bathroom with shower & bunkroom with 4 twin beds.

Apple Ridge Farm Caboose Bed & Breakfast - #1

Go back in time in this stylishly remodeled 1978 Norfolk Southern Caboose Car with queen bed, futon, table for two and attached outside deck. The overnight stay in this lovely Caboose #1 includes a complimentary breakfast. Guests can enjoy 96-acres of beautiful mountain property and 4+ miles of hiking trails. This is a unique and unforgettable experience. All proceeds support Apple Ridge Farm, a non-profit that "Helps Kids Grow!". This rental is Pet Friendly with a $25 per pet fee.

Boxcar with floor to ceiling glass doors

Guests staying in the Boxcar have access to the shared amenities of Rassawek Station including the patio “Flat Car” and our Lodge Cabin. Guests also have access to our ponds and 5+ miles of private country roads for hiking, running and biking. The boxcar living area has a sofa and coffee table and small area with table, two chairs and a mini fridge/freezer with a Keurig. The bedroom has a queen bed and dresser and there is a full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

The Caboose

A Romantic Retreat. This unique lodging experience is a renovated Norfolk & Western caboose. This cozy one bedroom accommodation has a bathroom with a separate shower room and satellite TV. For your comfort the gas fireplace and air conditioning units are controlled from within the room. Just outside the door is a creek side patio where you can sit and enjoy the soothing sounds of Pott's Creek.
