Relax in the many large spaces this open plan home enjoys or unwind with a drink n BBQ watching the sunset over the lake. Perhaps take a 5 min walk to the cosmopolitan cafes/restaurants and lakeside pleasures. Or bike riding some of the 20km of cycling track around the lake edges or even some dedicated mountain bike trails nearby. We have two mountain bikes available!

Centrally located close to John Hunter hospital, shops, sporting stadium, entertainment centre and University. Five minute walk to New Lambton village shops with IGA supermarket, pub, great coffee shops/cafes, and restaurants. Ten minute walk to McDonald Jones sports precinct and hockey stadium. Ten minute drive to Newcastle and beaches.

The Church

The Church is a very private 140 year old timber church with gothic windows and high ceilings set in its own lush native garden The living area is spacious with French Doors opening onto a large veranda under shady trees The bedroom is on a mezzanine level with a queen bed Bathroom is large with a long, deep cast iron bath. Pet friendly inside and out. 5 min walk to a nature reserve and Kotara rail station (Sydney line) 15-25 min to beach by car, bus or train very near (1-5 min walk)

'The Boathouse' Waterfront Studio, Swansea Heads.

2 PEOPLE MAXIMUM NO CHILDREN NO PETS NO COOKING INSIDE The Guesthouse is located on Salts Bay at Swansea Heads. Although it is on our property, it is completely separate to our house, with a private, waterfront entrance. Access is through our front gate, down a sloping path and a flight of stairs. Unfortunately is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Street parking is available. Free use of kayaks. You can swim directly in front of the studio, or from the sandy beach 100m away.

It features a spacious open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and double doors opening to a patio and garden while the living room has two single sofa beds, ideal for children. This sanctuary offers peace and comfort in nature. Accommodates 2 adults + 2 kids.

Newcastle Uni is moments away, John Hunter Hospital is a 7 minute drive. Private entry through the garage & you are welcomed to a leafy backdrop & creature comforts of home. Please note, our beautiful pup Bob is regularly in the yard the flat opens out to. You may see him in the yard during your stay. Pats encouraged 😊

"The Studio" is situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region with wineries and concert venues just minutes away. Perfect for a romantic getaway or to simply escape the hustle and bustle. There are many beautiful walks and sights to see right on your door step including wonderful wild life. The Studio" is one of two cottages on the property.
